A joint study group of Israel and the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) stated the feasibility of establishing a mutual free trade zone, representative of Eurasian Economic Commission Andrey Tochin said.

In summer the group is going to provide leadership of the countries with its recommendations on launching the negotiation process, RIA Novosti reported.

“At a certain configuration and certain conditions it may be beneficial to both Israel and the Eurasian Union, with all four countries,” Tochin said.

For Israel, the effect of creating a free trade area will be expressed in 6-8 percent growth of trade turnover with the Eurasian Union member states.
