There are people in the Azerbaijani leadership who first need psychological treatment and elementary clarification on what is happening, the Bulgarian journalist and political analyst Georgy Kolarov told Armenian News – NEWS.am Wednesday during “Against the Crime of Genocide” global forum.  

“Don’t they remember the time when the Karabakh Armenians won the Azerbaijani army with improvised weapons, while the latter were equipped with Soviet weapons? Isn’t it clear that it’s not possible to have revenge in any way?” Georgy Kolarov said. According to him, nothing special can happen in the future. “But unfortunately, Azerbaijan is governed by such people who can only bring about new bloodshed,” the political analyst added.

Kolarov also said that the Karabakh elections - which are to be held on May 3 and which he is going to attend as a journalist – will once again show the whole world that that Republic develops by its own rules and lives a full life. “And the fact of being recognized will not matter much. Sooner or later the process of the recognition of both the Armenian Genocide and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic will end,” Kolarov concluded.
