US President Barack Obama’s decision to not recognize the Armenian Genocide found its reflection through cartoons in the US press.

The cartoon by Bert Ring, published in Glendale News-Press depicts Pope Francis, US Congressman Adam Schiff and US President Barack Obama, who is dissatisfied about  the Armenian Genocide recognition by the Pope.

Another cartoon was published on the website Fresno Bee. According to the cartoon, “April 24, 2015 marks 100 years since the Armenian Genocide at the hands of the Turks - despite overwhelming historical evidence the United States has never official recognized the massacres as a genocide.”
