Turkish politicians continue voicing accusations against the countries that dared to recognize the fact of the Armenian Genocide.

Lead of Nationalist Movement party Devlet Bahceli said Germany must confront its own history.

During a campaign meeting with the Turks of Germany, Bahceli reminded the Germans “of their sins”, Der Westen reported.

“Everyone is waiting for forgiveness - the Kurds, Armenians, Assyrians – all are complaining.They are carrying out lobbying on the issue of genocide. They want to tarnish Turkey. However, how can Germany talk about genocide? During the First World War, we had a common destiny. The Germans first must stand face to face with their own past. It were not we who generated Hitler, not we who killed people in gas chambers. Turkey has never committed genocide,” the Turkish nationalist said.
