YEREVAN. - Armenia’s government will settle the question on control over cosmetics importers, Minister - Chief of RA Government Staff Davit Harutyunyan announced in the Parliament Wednesday.

To enable the importers sell the goods, bought prior to the enforcement of cosmetics stamping requirement, since April 1, 2014 the Ministry of Finance has allowed to apply to the supplier with the request of getting new invoices for the same commodity. Afterwards it will be possible to get reference stamps and sell the goods lawfully.

The economic entities - who were importing cosmetics without documentation, and who are now stating that the suppliers have closed - are those who have faced the problem. However, the situation is a bit different on the ground, Harutyunyan said.
