The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, chaired a session of the National Security Council of the country.
The Armenian Genocide issue also was discussed at the meeting, informed Sabah daily of Turkey.
In this connection, the council members stated that the genocide-related decisions, which a variety of countries have adopted, are political and have nothing to do with history, and therefore Turkey disregards these decisions.
