Members of the French community of Belgium honored memory of the Armenian Genocide victims with a minute of silence during the plenary session, La Libre reported.
In his opening speech, chairman of French community Philippe Courard paid tribute to 1.5 million victims.
“In democracy we can never accept, support or promote unawareness of the existing barbaric acts,” he said.
