YEREVAN. – Armenia is ready to host Armenian school children from Syria, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said.

Prime Minister said had already responded to the calls to help Armenians affected by the recent shelling of Suleymaniye district of Aleppo.

“I have repeatedly stated the government is ready to shelter children from Syria and create appropriate conditions for them,” Abrahamyan said.

He instructed Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan to brief him on the efforts on hosting Syrian Armenian children. The results of the work will be presented by the Minister during one of the upcoming meetings of the Cabinet.
