An interreligious prayer service, and in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide, was offered Thursday at the Washington National Cathedral. 

US Vice President Joe Biden, and US Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power attended the prayer service wearing a forget-me-not, which is the symbol of the Armenian Genocide Centennial.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan—who was in the US on a working visit—, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, and Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I, also were among those in attendance to this event.

In addition, President Sargsyan delivered an address during the interreligious prayer service.
