YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 480.98/$1 in Armenia on Friday; this is up by AMD 0.02 from Thursday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 540.62 (down by AMD 6.52), that of one British pound was AMD 742.63 (up by AMD 9.89), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 9.43 (down by AMD 0.08), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 252.83, AMD 18,355.61 and AMD 17,474.17, respectively.

The NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, however, saw no USD trading on Friday.
