The Republic of Armenia (RA) official delegation, led by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, is on a visit to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).

The delegation continues to take part in the festive events devoted to the 70th anniversary of the victory achieved in the Great Patriotic War, and the anniversaries of the NKR Defense Army and the Liberation Day of the NKR City of Shushi. 

The RA and NKR senior officials placed flowers to the tank-monument of Shushi, and paid tribute to its fallen Armenian soldiers. 

Next, they placed flowers to the monuments of Armenian military commander and politician Vazgen Sargsyan, and Second World War Soviet Armenian dive bomber pilot Nelson Stepanyan.

Within the framework of these triple anniversaries, the ceremony of lighting of the torch of the forthcoming Sixth Pan-Armenian Games was held at the Cathedral of Christ the Holy Savior in Shushi.

The official RA delegation also attended the official opening of the “From Shushi to Shushi” photo exhibition at the city’s arts center.

In addition, a celebratory concert dedicated to the triple anniversaries was held at the sports ground of Shushi.
