The Union established in January 2015 includes Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia.

“All the questions that raise doubt have been withdrawn, and today we’re adopting a document on the accession of the Kyrgyz party to our Union, on the occasion of which I congratulate you,” Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Moscow., RIA Novosti reports.

The agreement on the accession of Kyrgyzstan was signed in December 2014. The Republic is scheduled to accede to the integration association on May 8, following the agreement’s ratification. Nevertheless, the parties didn’t manage to come to an agreement on several questions.

Earlier adviser to Russia’s President Yuri Ushakov told the journalists that in March Kyrgyzstan proposed to introduce changes in the effective protocols, “which do not seem logical to the Union members.”
