YEREVAN. – Celebratory events, which are devoted to the 70th anniversary of the victory achieved in the Second World War, have kicked off at Victory Park in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

Representatives from the Armenian National Assembly and the Government as well as from the foreign diplomatic missions in the country have come to the park to place flowers to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

In keeping with tradition, a military parade is planned, too. 

In addition, the Military Museum of Mother Armenia has prepared a new exhibition for this day.

Celebratory events are scheduled in all the provinces of Armenia.

The festivities will end with a fireworks display.
