YEREVAN. – An agreement to resume Armenia-EU talks will be signed in Riga, Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper writes citing a diplomatic source.

President Sargsyan will travel to Riga on May 21-22 to participate in the Eastern Partnership summit.

According to the newspaper, there is no official confirmation that the document will be signed, and president’s spokesperson was not available for a comment.

“Several days ago Armenian Deputy FM Shavarsh Kocharyan said Sargsyan will travel to Riga if there is no problem with his working schedule. Nevertheless, an invitation to President Sargsyan has been sent. Our source said Armenian lawmakers will also participate in the discussion of summit’s results in Latvia’s parliament that will be held on May 25,” the newspaper writes.
