A bird has “attacked” the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

An extraordinary incident occurred during a mosque opening in Turkey, reported Russia-24, a state-owned TV news channel in Russia.

During the festive event, the Turkish president was to release doves and partridges to the sky.

The birds, however, did not get out of the cage. So, Erdogan attempted to bring these birds out of the cage with an umbrella, but the birds stayed where they were.

Therefore, an aide gave the birds one by one to the Turkish president, who then released them to the sky.

But a partridge did not want to fly; it came back, and tried to sit on the Turkish leader’s head.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, however, did nothing, and waited until the bird left on its own.
