YEREVAN. – A call was received from a person, on Sunday at 7:10am, informing that his son had committed suicide at a courtyard in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. 

After a search at the scene of the incident, the dead body of Georgi Mkrtchyan—who was born in 1975—was found at the said courtyard, and with a wound on his forehead.  

A forensic examination is commissioned.

An investigation is carried out.

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has opened a criminal case into the death of Mkrtchyan, who was the proprietor of a chain of watch stores.
