Considering the current equipment of Yerevan’s “Nairit” chemical plant, its re-operation is senseless and inefficient, Armenia’s PM Hovik Abrahamyan said on the first day of “Baze-2015” Pan-Armenian Youth Assembly, referring to the results of the audit conducted by the World Bank specialists.
According to the PM, $350 million is needed for the re-operation of the plant, which is practically equal to the construction of a new plant. “The Government has no such resources, but it’s ready to freeze the debts and expenses of the plant if an investor comes around,” Abrahamyan said.
