YEREVAN. – Co-owners of Air Armenia company issued a statement calling on the government to find a legal way out of the situation.

They expressed concern over the incident that happened with Arsen Avetisyan, the owner of 51 percent of shares.

“Personal safety and the right to freedom of action is an important condition of the company. We commend the authorities for their swift and targeted steps to ensure the safety of Arsen Avetisyan and his family.

At the same time, we urge the parties to maintain sober and balanced approach to solve the problems as soon as possible,” the company said in a statement.

The co-owners of the company consider that the recent events could threaten the reforms and investment programs of Air Armenia.

“In this regard, we ask the parties to find a legal way out of this situation,” the statement reads.
