YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 476.82/$1 in Armenia on Thursday; this is down by AMD 0.47 from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 531.94 (up by AMD 4.96), that of one British pound was AMD 744.98 (down by AMD 3.08), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.08 (down by AMD 0.19), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 233.71, AMD 17,055.45 and AMD 15,176.43, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 300,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 477.23/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 477.25/$1.
