YEREVAN. – Materials in connection with the beating of an elderly protester by police officer have been sent to Armenia's special investigation service, prosecutor’s office said.
Earlier an Armenian police officer was suspended after attacking an old man during a protest action last week.
The incident occurred on Friday evening during an action staged by “Stand Up, Armenia” initiative.
