YEREVAN. - The British Council is one of the reliable partners of Armenia’s Ministry of Education and Science, Armenia’s Education Minister Armen Ashotyan said today at the meeting with the British Ambassador to Armenia Katherine Leach, who is completing her diplomatic mission in the country.  

According to Ashotyan, the British Council widely supports teachers in improving English language teaching as well as in developing criteria for the assignment of academic titles in the framework of the Bologna process.

During the meeting, Ambassador Leach said that actual examples of successful cooperation is the operation of the British School of Business in Yerevan, as well as the National Program of Excellence in Education, which was developed according to the international criteria and in cooperation with the London School of Education and the University of Cambridge to serve as a platform for the Ararat Baccalaureate.
