YEREVAN. – The Azerbaijani side has been more frequently using long-range firepower, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyn told reporters.

He is confident that the reason is constant failures of the opponent.

“One of the reasons for tension at the line of contact is that the adversary started using mine throwers. Of course, such actions do not remain unanswered. Preventive actions usually create conditions to restrain the opponent. The adversary fails to achieve success and uses long-range means,” the Minister said, assuring that situation on the border is under control.
