YEREVAN. - Upon entering the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Armenia has got access to a huge market of 170 million people, residing in the territory of the EAEU, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volinkin saisd at the meeting with the students of  Secondary school No. 21 of the Russian Defense Ministry.

“That’s why Armenia now needs to handle the production of goods which it is most renowned for and which are most highly demanded in the other EAEU member-states. First of all, these are agricultural goods, which are considered a serious and famous brand in the EAEU states. Besides, great touristic opportunities are opening up. In the current conditions of economic crisis many people will visit Armenia with great pleasure. The thing is not everyone knows about Armenia. Armenia must be advertised. Personally I don’t know anyone who has been left dissatisfied upon coming here. People here are wonderful, and the architectural monuments are great too! Besides, the labor migration regime has been facilitated for the Armenian citizens, which is important for Armenia’s budget replenishment and ensuring proper living standard in the country,” he said.
