The prosecutor, who examines the case of holding Turkish state officials accountable in the murder of Hrant Dink, sent the respective indictment report to the Istanbul 5th High Criminal Court, and motioned that it be joined to the main case into Dink’s murder.
But the court refused to join these cases, and therefore the prosecutor forwarded the indictment report to the Istanbul 14th High Criminal Court, reported Agos Armenian bilingual weekly of Istanbul, Turkey.
The prosecutor stressed in his indictment report that 26 state officials are accountable for Dink’s murder.
Istanbul Armenian journalist Hrant Dink was the founder and chief editor of Agos, and he was shot dead on January 19, 2007, outside the office of his weekly.
