STEPANAKERT. – Armed clashes continued along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces, from Sunday to early Monday morning.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ministry of Defense informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that during this time Azerbaijan fired over 1,700 shots at the Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry, mortars, grenade launchers, a reactive rocket propelled howitzer, and a howitzer cannon.

But vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army took retaliatory actions to quell these provocative steps by the adversary, and continued confidently carrying out their military task.
