The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Foreign Ministers Council on Monday conferred on combating international terrorism.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia has informed the above-said.

“Matters of further improvement of the collective security system, [and] the fight against international terrorism were discussed at the meeting,” the respective press release reads. “Several documents, which were prepared for the meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council meeting, [also] were discussed.”

The ongoing CSTO FMs’ meeting in Moscow is unscheduled, and it is convened at the initiative of the organization’s chairing country, Armenia.

The CSTO member countries are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
