A large part of our demands is reflected on the new indictment report by the prosecutor’s office. 

Hakan Bakırcıoğlu, who is one of the Hrant Dink family attorneys, stated the aforementioned.

Bakırcıoğlu told Agos Armenian bilingual weekly of Istanbul, Turkey, that this new indictment report—which is prepared within the framework of the investigation against 26 current and former Turkish public servants along the lines of the case into Dink’s murder—is satisfactory for them, since it includes the charges of premeditated murder as well as being informed and doing nothing about the premeditated murder.

The attorney stressed, however, that this new indictment report does not include the Turkish national intelligence service officers who had threatened Dink.

Several days ago, the court accepted the new indictment report.

Istanbul Armenian journalist Hrant Dink was the founder and chief editor of Agos, and he was shot dead on January 19, 2007, outside the office of his weekly.
