YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Agriculture of Armenia, Sergo Karapetyan, on Sunday paid a visit to a military unit and the frontline in Tavush Province, and congratulated the border-protecting soldiers on their forthcoming New Year and Armenian Christmas (January 6) holidays.

The Ministry of Agriculture informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Karapetyan spoke with these soldiers, gave them gifts, and thanked them for their service rendered to the homeland as well as for their resolve and courage.  

“Our country can develop and progress solely when the borders of our country are impenetrable,” the agriculture minister noted speaking to the soldiers. “And today, you carry out this mission with honor.”

Also, Sergo Karapetyan toured the military unit, spoke with its officers, and got familiarized with the living conditions of the soldiers who are serving in this unit.
