YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 482.50/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday; this is up by AMD 0.87 from Monday.

Press service of the Central Bank of Armenia has informed the aforesaid.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 529.59 (up by AMD 0.95), that of one British pound was AMD 717.48 (down by AMD 1.35), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 6.65 (down by AMD 0.01).

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 220.28, AMD 16,571.48 and AMD 13,409.8, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 200,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 484.5/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 485/$1.
