YEREVAN. – Armenian capital city Yerevan resident S. Mkhitaryan, 26, is facing court over stabbing someone.

According to the indictment, she had an argument with M. Shabanyan in a Yerevan apartment, during which she stabbed Shabanyan in the stomach with a kitchen knife. Subsequently, she inflicted a wound to Shabanyan’s neck with a disposable razor.

As a result, Mkhitaryan caused serious harm to Shabanyan’s health.

Criminal charges are brought against this young woman, and she faces three to seven years in prison.

Arrest has been enforced as her restraining order.
