Armenia’s FM Edward Nalbandian today visited the frontline of the Armed Forces of Armenia, which keep the watch on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border line.
The FM familiarized himself with the course and conditions of the service, Armenia’s MFA press-service reports. After a long talk with the soldiers, Nalbandian spoke of Armenia’s efforts aimed at the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, relations with other countries and the country’s stance on regional issues. He also responded to the different questions of the soldiers.
The FM congratulated the soldiers on the coming New Year and Christmas, wishing them peaceful service, perseverance and health. He also assured that the Armenian diplomats will continue exerting efforts aimed at the enhancement of peace and stability.
