Iraq has once again turned to Turkey with the demand to withdraw the troops from the northern part of the country, where they are training ISIS fighters, Gazeta reports citing Associated Press.
Iraqi FM Ibrahim al-Jaafari said that Baghdad will continue to insist on the peaceful withdrawal of troops, but warned that if "fighting is imposed on us, we will consider it to protect our sovereignty, people and resources."
Earlier it became known that the authorities of Iraq turned down the help of the Turkish side in the liberation of the largest city to the north of Mosul.
