Eleven people, including two police officers, were injured on Tuesday in a bomb blast in Pakistan's Mardan District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,  TASS reported quoting local TV channel ARY News.

The bomb was laid around the store. According to estimates of engineers, it contained 600 grams of explosives. All the victims were taken to hospital, information about the severity of their condition has not been  provided.

Law enforcement agencies conducted an operation to arrest militants who laid an explosive device.

The province of Haybekr-Pakhtunkhva is on the border with Afghanistan. There are fighters of the Afghan Taliban movement in this territory.
