The U.S. will allocate nearly $23 million to Ukraine as an extra amount to the humanitarian assistance to help the residents of the eastern part of the country amid crisis, The Voice of America reported.
The total amount of the US-provided humanitarian aid since the beginning of crisis will exceed $135 million.
The statement released by State Department says the amount will be allocated to help over 3.1 million of Ukrainian citizens who are suffering from the continuing crisis.
