YEREVAN. – A delegation from the US Embassy in Yerevan, led by Ambassador Richard Mills, on Friday visited the headquarters of the newly formed Bright Armenia Party.

The party headquarters informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the Bright Armenia Party members presented the party’s vision for the development of Armenia, the work done so far since the founding of this new political force, and its challenges.

The format of the Bright Armenia Party’s running in the local elections in autumn also was presented during the talk.

Ambassador Mills, for his part, underscored the development of political diversity for the benefit of a stable and democratic Armenia.

He noted that political diversity and pluralism are important in all societies, and that is why they welcome the multiplication of political voices in Armenia. 

The diplomat added that the US Embassy in Armenia is committed to be a partner of all accountable political voices in the country in order to build a stable, democratic, and prosperous Armenia.
