On July 7-8 in Bratislava the Armenian Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan has participated in the informal meeting of the EU Ministers of Eastern Partnership countries , where they has discussed approaches in the EU and in Eastern Partnership countries and the effective mechanisms of the fight against corruption , money laundering, and financing of terrorists. 

The Ministry of Justice informed the NEWS.am that the ministers also touched upon solutions proposed in those areas by a number of legal acts, including the EU directive 4 against money laundering  .

Arpine Hovhannisyan presented the activities undertaken within the framework of the fight against corruption in Armenia, touched upon the work of the Council for the fight against corruption, as well as legislative initiatives aimed at combating corruption. She also presented the measures taken to strengthen the independence and transparency of the judicial system in course of 2012-2016 judicial reforms , the achievements  , as well as the prospect of further reforms .
