The NATO will develop responsive measures against Russia's "aggressive behavior"  said the Deputy National Security Advisor to the US president , Ben Rhodes, reports the Ria Novosti.

"If Russia continues to behave aggressively, [NATO] to respond with increasing its presence in Eastern Europe," said Rhodes , assuring that the United States will not allow Russia to undermine the unity of the NATO and will do everything in Eastern Europe to protect  the members of the Alliance.

The RIA Novosti reported that Rhodes also said that in a telephone conversation with the Russian President Vladimir Putin, the US President Barack Obama didn’t discuss the strengthening of the NATO near Russia's borders .
