NATO is not engaged in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, while Azerbaijan tries to present the wordings in the statements and declarations reached at the NATO summits as a support for its position, Armenian Foreign Minister told reporters in Warsaw.
According to him, Baku is trying thereby to justify its militaristic statements and actions that are opposed to the approaches of the international community to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict peacefully.
The minister recalled that in the five statements issued by the heads of the Minsk Group Co-Chairing countries, two of which are members of NATO - France and the United States, clearly reflected the principles that should be the basis for a settlement.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan is trying to ignore these statements and prevents making references to these statements. Armenia has repeatedly stated that it is ready to continue efforts to settle the conflict exclusively by peaceful means, the Foreign Minister said.
