YEREVAN. – The new Ambassador of Ethiopia to Armenia (residence in Moscow) Grum Abay Teshome presented copies of his credentials to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Armen Papikyan.

Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, the Deputy Minister noted that the historical, religious and cultural ties between Armenia and Ethiopia provide a solid foundation for the development of bilateral relations, foreign ministry’s press office reported.

 At the same time, he expressed confidence that the Ambassador will make a significant contribution to the deepening and strengthening of relations.

The sides touched upon a wide range of bilateral issues, in particular, cooperation in education, culture, information technologies and agriculture.

The sides noted the importance of cooperation within international organizations.
