YEREVAN. – Political relations between Armenia and France are at an excellent level, French Ambassador to Armenia Jean-François Charpentier stated at a press conference on Tuesday. 

In the meantime, as per the ambassador, economic relations could be more active.

“Much more can be done than now,” noted Ambassador Charpentier.

He added that the French embassy in Armenia works very actively with the respective trade and economic chambers of Armenia and France.

The diplomat also informed that the next Armenian-French business forum is planned to be held in early December.

And reflecting on French language teaching in Armenia, Ambassador Jean-François Charpentier underscored the need to strengthen La Francophonie in the country, and pointed to the role of the French University in Armenia.
