U.S. President Barack Obama stated that to restore trust between the police and the U.S. citizens after incidents in Minnesota and Louisiana will not be possible quickly, RIA Novosti reported.

The U.S. leader noted that their country is very huge, very diverse and  there are many police departments, and it will be honest to admit that they will see new tensions between the police and the population in coming years.

He also added that the U.S. government should try to solve the existing problems constructively.

Protest actions began after the police officers shot the black man in the city of Baton Rouge in the State of Louisiana. An incident occurred in Minnesota where a police officer shot and killed a black man after his car was stopped for an inspection.
