YEREVAN. – Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Thursday received Bulgarian Ambassador Georgi Karastamatov, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the FM gave a positive assessment to Armenian-Bulgarian friendship relations. Nalbandian also wished the Bulgarian diplomat success in his future endeavors.

Ambassador Karastamatov, for his part, noted that, during his mission in Yerevan, he worked with utmost effort for the benefit of the development of bilateral relations. He also thanked for the assistance provided by the Armenian MFA.

Subsequently, Edward Nalbandian awarded Georgi Karastamatov with the MFA medal of honor, in recognition of his considerable contribution to the development of Armenian-Bulgarian relations.
