YEREVAN. - Defense Minister of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan on Friday received Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges, Jamie Shea.
At the meeting the current condition and prospects for Armenia-NATO cooperation were discussed, the press-service of the Defense Ministry reports.
The NATO representative highly appreciated Armenia’s participation in the peacekeeping missions of Afghanistan and Kosovo.
The sides also considered efficient the cooperation in the sphere of reforms, military education and trainings. The importance of the further dialogue was underscored for the purpose of developing new action plan of individual partnership.
Apart from this, the interlocutors exchanged views on issues of regional security.
