The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had a telephone conversation with the US Secretary of State John Kerry. As the Russian Foreign Ministry website writes: "Yesterday, after the talks held within the framework of the APEC forum in Lima, the parties continued discussing the Syrian conflict, particularly, the situation in eastern Aleppo." It is noted, that the conversation took place on the initiative of the American side.
