NATO do not play a role in negotiations aiming at solving Karabakh conflict, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated at the plenary session of NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Istanbul Monday.
In his words, NATO supports the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group to address this conflict. “We take interest in this process and encourage all sides to continue efforts aimed at peaceful solution, solution is core value for NATO,” Stoltenberg said.
The Secretary General also noted that NATO-Armenia and NATO-Azerbaijan relations should not be conditioned to Karabakh. “I have stated clearly that NATO do not play a role in negotiations aiming at solving Karabakh conflict,” he said.
