YEREVAN. – Foreign Minister of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, on Wednesday met with Secretary-General of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF), Michaëlle Jean.

They met within the framework of the ongoing OIF ministerial conference in Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar.
Nalbandian and Jean reflected on the results of the OIF ministerial conference that was convened last year in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

The Armenian FM and the OIF Secretary-General also discussed the steps being taken toward strengthening as well as raising the standing of this organization. 

In addition, the interlocutors exchanged views on the preparations for the next OIF ministerial conference and La Francophonie Summit.
