YEREVAN. – Foreign Minister of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, on Wednesday participated in the opening session of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) ministerial conference in Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar.

The event brought together high-level delegations from the 80 member, associate, and observer countries of this organization.

OIF Secretary-General Michaëlle Jean delivered opening remarks. She reflected on the results of this organization’s previous ministerial conference that was convened last year in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, and the decisions which were adopted during that event, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In addition, FM Nalbandian delivered welcoming remarks at the opening session of this year’s OIF ministerial conference.
