Former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych stated on Friday that his most important mistake in 2014 was the refusal to impose martial law in Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.

“I made a number of mistakes, and the most important one was that I wasn’t able to force myself to bring troops and impose martial law in Ukraine, this being the only way to stop the radicals. I didn’t opt for a bloodshed,” he said at a press-conference on Friday.
