The French President Francois Hollande during his speech on Fidel Castro’s death has called that the embargo against Cuba be completely canceled, reports the BFMTV channel. The Cuban revolutionary, political figure Fidel Castro died on November 25 at the age of 90. The funeral is scheduled for December 4 in Santiago.
In late 2014, the United States and Cuba announced that they began gradually normalize their relations. The parties have restored their diplomatic relations. The US also weakened trade restrictions against Cuba, though the trade embargo, the Congress imposed more than half a century ago, is still valid.
