The German magazine Der Spiegel on the weekend front page published the US president Donald Trump with beheaded Statue of Liberty's head in his hand, reports Reuters. The illustration has caused mixed reactions both in Germany and abroad.
The artist is Edel Rodriguez, who emigrated from Cuba to the US in 1980. According to the Washington Post, the illustration is a symbol of beheaded democracy. Although some politicians called this image "tasteless".
